Mindlight was asked to extend the 360° degree video application previously build for Van Cleef & Arpels and to provide it with two new languages, French and Japanese, and some new and altered content.
The application is part the “Van Cleef & Arpels, l’Art de la Haute Joaillerie” at Les Arts Décoratifs museum in Paris, from September 20th 2012 to February 10th 2013.

The application shows the work process of Van Cleef & Arpels with an unique look behind the scenes using panoramic video and ‘clickable’ hotspots which will popup background videos and photos. Visitors can use KINECT for navigating through the application, thus using their hands to make intuitive gestures.

At the museum around 500 creations that have made the fame of the Maison are highlighted and shown with archives, documents and drawings, in an exhibition design by Jouin-Manku.

A dedicated website containing information about the exhibition can be found here.
